How do I clean my Heatle device properly?

To clean your Heatle device:

- Use a soft sponge and mild detergent for regular cleaning.

- For limescale deposits, soak the parts in a light citric acid solution, vinegar, or organic descaler. Avoid phosphoric or hydrochloric acid and do not leave parts in the cleaning solution for more than 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water afterward.

I am getting the error “disc too big or too close”.

There can be a loss of efficiency with the Disc L if the bottom of the vessel is too thin. A simple remedy would be to use a thicker cup.

If the message "Disc too large" is displayed, you should check whether you are using the correct cup. If your cup on your Heatle is too large, this error message may appear.

My button is not functioning properly, what can I do?
  1. Try removing the button completely. This is relatively easy. Grasp the button and pull it out firmly. You can also try to push it out a little from the side with an auxiliary object.
  2. Now you can grease the inside of the button housing a little. Important: It should be a silicone-based grease! Please only apply it to the inside and do not allow it to reach the back of the sensor.
  3. Then put the button back on the device.
